Corpay becomes Manchester City’s official foreign exchange partner

The defending Premier League (PL) champions, Manchester City FC have announced a multi-year partnership with the multinational payments provider, Corpay.

The deal makes the brand’s Cross-Border division the club’s official foreign exchange partner.

Corpay is a worldwide leader in corporate payments, connecting businesses of various sizes throughout industries. The brand’s distinguished Cross-Border solutions are used by companies worldwide to assist in reducing foreign exchange exposure from day-to-day business needs and handle global payments from a single point of contact.

Corpay’s Cross-Border company will help the Blues grow globally by providing automated payment systems and foreign currency services. Moreover, the Corpay brand will also be visible throughout the club’s digital channels, as well as in-stadium advertising for City fans at Etihad Stadium and Joie Stadium.

Kaitlyn Beale VP, City Football Group Global Partnership Sales, said, “As we continue to grow as a club globally, we do so with a commitment to innovate and improve as a business across our various services. As such, we are pleased to welcome Corpay, a market leader in corporate payments that will enhance our services and support our global growth.”

Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer, Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, commented, “With our strong focus on growing the Corpay brand, as well as our corporate payments and currency risk management business globally, we are excited to partner with one of the Premier League’s most successful and historic football clubs, and wish them luck in the upcoming season.”

The Citizens have joined Corpay’s Cross-Border business, which has a strong history of sports partners that include World Athletics, AC Milan, Aston Villa, Real Betis, World Table Tennis, Watford FC and much more.

Notably, the club also signed partnerships with Yili Group and C.P. Company.

The Sky Blues are off to a great start in the 2024-25 season, with Erling Haaland scoring on his 100th club appearance to help the championship defenders win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
